BVR Spatial development vision Space Campus Noordwijk

Commissioned by the municipality of Noordwijk, BVR is helping to arrive at a jointly supported image of the Space Campus Noordwijk. BVR has supervised a work session with the municipality, province, Space Campus foundation, NSO, IQ and ESTEC and helps to arrive at an area vision with rules for area development.

Space Campus Noordwijk is the centre stage for space activities in the Netherlands. Its location right next door to ESA’s technical heart ESTEC and all the main players in space in the Netherlands, makes it the place to meet, to learn about the latest developments, to share knowledge, and to discuss future space missions.

With the support of the already existing Space Incubator on site, the university-supported exchange programme, an active role of the government – in particular through the Netherlands Space Office, Space Campus Noordwijk literally connects readily available knowledge, to companies and institutions all over the Netherlands. 

BVR is a visionary and strategic agency for spatial issues and has a healthy dose of realism. Their work is highly visual. BVR wants to take a fresh look at the assignment and look at where the energy is in society or with the client. BVR often organize and supervise interactive workshops, sketch sessions, debates and expert meetings. BVR is increasingly being asked for an integrated vision for the future, area visions, ambition documents, position papers and relocation issues for which the creation of a spatial plan is not the immediate goal.
