Welcome back from your well deserved summer holidays! Too hot in some places, too rainy in others, but it is good to have you back! And what a great time to look forward to the top season of European and global space events, it is conference season!
To help you define your conference agenda for these busy months between summer and Christmas, we have made a selection of some of our favourite, and most impactful space industry events of the 2023 European autumn season. 1. World Satellite Business Week
Paris, France, 11-15 September 2023
The Euroconsult World Satellite Business Week is the leading global business space event, bringing together 1,000 decision makers under the same roof for a week of deal-making and intense discussions shaping the future of the satellite industry.
2. International Astronautical Congress IAC2023
Baku, Azerbaijan, 2-6 October 2023
The IAC is the one place and time of the year where all global space actors come together. The event attracts more than 6,000 participants each year. Covering all space sectors and topics, it offers everyone the latest space information and developments in academia and industry, networking opportunities, contacts and potential partnerships.
3. The Space Week NL
The Netherlands, 7-15 October 2023
The second edition of The Space Week NL on 7-15 October is a 9-day space extravaganza, bringing unique experiences and events to exclusive locations in The Netherlands. Together with the entire Dutch space sector, The Space Week NL demystifies space by opening its doors to everyone.
4. Software Defined Space Conference
Tallinn, Estonia, 1-2 November 2023
The third conference in the series, launched in 2021, dedicated to cyber security in space, the ‘Software Defined Space Conference’ (SDSC), has grown out to be the leading space cyber security conference in Europe, hosted in the number one digital nation in the world!
5. 6th Cassini Hackathon

7. Space Tech Expo Europe
Bremen, Germany, 14-16 November 2023
Join us for the 6th edition of Space Tech Expo: Europe’s largest B2B event for the space industry! This free-to-attend exhibition will showcase the very latest technology for the designing, manufacturing and testing of spacecraft, satellite, launch vehicle and space-related technologies, bringing together engineers, systems integrators, contractors and suppliers in commercial, government and military space.
8. UK Space Conference 2023
Belfast, United Kingdom, 21-23 November 2023
The UK Space Conference is a significant biennial event for the UK Space sector. The event unites the UK and international space communities, such as government, industry, and academia. The conference provides a platform for the UK and global space sector to exchange ideas, plans, and partnerships that encourage development and success in the emerging space age.
9. New Space Economy Congress
Barcelona, Spain, 22-23 November 2023
Two days that will make Barcelona the centre of the new space economy, that will help to understand the business opportunities that this sector provides in areas such as: constellations of small satellites, new materials and quantum technology, satellite telecommunications, GNSS, cybersecurity, satellite data, or the management of humanitarian challenges.
