Open DataSpace Lab

Making data accessible

The Open Dataspace Lab (ODL) is a new
initiative hosted by dotSPACE as part of our
mission to accelerate the use of Earth
observation, remote sensing and underwater
data for societal impact.
ODL provides a dedicated project space for
data sharing, where organisations can access,
publish and collaboratively analyse satellite,
sensor and sonar data under clear governance
and with full respect for data sovereignty.

It is built around the idea that valuable
environmental and geospatial data should be
easier to discover, easier to combine, and easier
to use across organisations and sectors

Who is ODL for?

ODL is open to organisations that create,
manage or use remote-sensing or sonar data:

  • Public authorities and government agencies
  • Research institutes and universities
  • Technology and data companies
  • Environmental and maritime organisations
  • Start-ups developing EO-based solutions
  • Multi-stakeholder innovation projects

Participants can join as data providers,
data users or innovation partners.

Get involved

if you are working with remote-sensing, satellite or sonar data and want to collaborate through the
Open Dataspace Lab, we welcome you to join the community.
