Registration Now Open for EXPANDEO 2025: Europe’s Leading Earth Observation Event

The European Association of Remote Sensing Companies (EARSC) is happy to announce that registration is now open for EXPANDEO 2025, the annual event of the European Earth Observation community. Taking place on 11-12 June 2025 at Townhall Europe in Brussels and online, the event will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, and key institutional stakeholders to discuss the future of Earth Observation in Europe.

With the theme “Building Resilience: Policy, Innovation, and Partnerships for a Sustainable Tomorrow,” this year’s edition will explore how EO is shaping major policy areas, driving innovation, and fostering collaboration across sectors.

The two-day event will feature in-depth discussions on critical topics, including:

• The Future of European Earth Observation – A high-level opening panel with key voices from the European institutions.
• Climate Action and Nature Restoration – How EO technologies are supporting carbon markets and conservation efforts.
• Defence and Security – The evolving role of EO in European defence strategies and civil security.
• Africa-EU Collaboration – Strengthening partnerships and market opportunities between Europe and Africa.
• Start-Up Showcase – The return of the live pitch competition, where emerging EO Start-Ups will present their cutting-edge solutions.

Representatives from the European Commission, European Space Agency (ESA), European Defence Agency (EDA), industry leaders, and research institutions will speak and participate as panelists.
