EUSpace4Ukraine: the EU’s space tool for the Ukrainian people

The European Union Space Programme Agency, EUSPA, is launching a platform to put space at the service of the Ukrainian people, under the motto: EUspace4Ukraine.

The European Union Space Programme Agency, EUSPA, is launching a new platform to put space at the service of the Ukrainian people: EUspace4Ukraine.

This platform aims to bring innovators, start-ups and businesses in contact with NGOs and other carers on the ground. It brings together applications and solutions that mobilise open access data from Galileo and Copernicus, two components of the EU space programme, to strengthen humanitarian aid for the Ukrainian population. It is also a question of inviting the innovation sector to propose alternative solutions.

Galileo and Corpernicus provide positioning and navigation services and Earth observation data, respectively. The applications and solutions published on this platform will cover a wide range of uses, from support to NGOs providing medical products through drones to practical solutions to support the integration of people fleeing war in EU countries.

EUspace4Ukraine Platform

The European Union, its Member States, and Europeans across the continent have joined efforts to support Ukrainians fleeing the devastating war. EUSPA is mobilizing the EU Space innovation community that can provide technological solutions to enhance humanitarian support for the Ukrainian people. This platform aims to match the innovators with NGOs and other helpers.

The EU Agency for the Space Programme, EUSPA, being a user-oriented agency created this page to gather applications and solutions that leverage freely accessible data by Galileo and Copernicus to support NGOs and other helpers who are providing humanitarian support to the Ukrainian people. Additionally, the page will present NGOs and other helpers interested in matchmaking with such innovators and startups.

The applications/solutions cover a wide range of uses, from supporting NGOs delivering medical goods via drones to practical solutions to support the integration in EU countries of people fleeing the war.

For any enquiry about the applications, please refer to the specific developer and owner of the relevant intellectual property rights.

If you are an innovator or application developer and want to add your App to the list, please describe your project, picture and website to market@euspa.europa.eu

If you are an NGO interested in cooperation with innovators and startups providing technological solutions that might be helpful for your organization during humanitarian activities, please contact market@euspa.europa.eu .
