After EUDIS Hackathon Success, Dutch Team Trusk Selected for EU Defence Accelerator
Dutch defence startup Trusk Technology B.V. has been selected for the second cohort of the EUDIS Business Accelerator, a European Commission-supported programme designed to support highly innovative defence and dual-use startups across Europe.
The selection follows Trusk’s participation in the Dutch edition of the EUDIS Defence Hackathon (Autumn 2025), where the team developed and tested its counter-UAS solution in a real operational setting. Since then, the company has continued to build its technology and expand its activities within the European defence innovation ecosystem.

“Our current focus is to test our systems in real battlefield conditions,” said co-founder Caspar Lusink. “The EUDIS accelerator helps us with finding the right partners to do that. It also helps us connect with more international stakeholders to get a foothold in other EU countries to start doing sales there as well.”
The second EUDIS Business Accelerator cohort includes 20 selected companies from 14 EU Member States and Norway. Participating companies receive tailored mentoring, access to testing facilities, networking opportunities, and support for scaling their solutions within the European defence sector.
The example of Team Trusk illustrates how hackathons can provide participants with opportunities to test ideas, connect with relevant networks and engage with wider European innovation initiatives.
