NSSC 2023: The premier event for students interested in space!
The UKSEDS National Student Space Conference, now in its 35th year, is the premier event for students interested in space, uniting them with academics and professionals from across the country to network, share knowledge, and discuss the challenges facing the sector.
We are delighted to be back in-person for NSSC 2023 at the University of Manchester, hosted by a group of local branches. It is open to all space enthusiasts and everyone who wants to learn more about the sector, featuring talks by leading industry figures, a careers fair, and opportunities to take part in discussions and networking events. This year, we are including a more prominent focus on interactive workshops and skills development.
We offer discounted rates for UKSEDS Members. If you are a student at a UK University or have been in the past three years, you can become a UKSEDS Member for free – apply here!
The non-UKSEDS Members tickets are for employed graduates, and other non-students.
About the National Student Space Conference
The National Student Space Conference (NSSC) is our flagship event of the year. Having been first held in 1989 at London’s Science Museum, we now welcome hundreds of students and recent graduates from across the country. It is open to all, and features talks by leading academics and industry figures, a careers fair, and opportunities to take part in discussions and networking events. Our speaker line up has included the likes of Tim Peake, Dallas Campbell, and Kathryn D. Sullivan.
Each year we select one branch to host the conference. If you are interested in hosting the next NSSC at your university, make sure to keep an eye out for applications around June on our social media channels.
