The Dutch ecosystem for drones, software, and autonomous technologies is expanding rapidly, driven by applications in defence, surveying, agritech, and logistics. While market demand is growing, scaling these technologies requires access to capital and stronger investor readiness across the sector.
Building on the results of its 2025 incubation programme, Unmanned Valley is organising the first edition of Pioneers Capital Day, focused on connecting technology-driven companies with investors and funding partners.

The event brings together startups, scale-ups, investors, and ecosystem partners for a morning programme dedicated to funding, growth, and market entry. Partners include Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, Rabobank, and InnovationQuarter.
What to expect:
- Short talks from experts in technology and finance
- Dragon’s Den-style startup pitches, including an award for the best pitch
- Speed dating sessions with investors and funding organisations
- Networking at Unmanned Valley’s flight-test location
Pioneers Capital Day is intended as the first edition of an annual event series, with future editions planned to expand in scope and participation.
