Complete the Water-ForCE survey on the future of Copernicus water services

The Water-ForCE consortium is defining the future of inland water services for Copernicus. We are a scientific partnership, collecting the needs of the public and private sectors of the core Copernicus Program. We would love to know your needs. Hence a new survey!

To research these needs we have created the Water-ForCE survey. We kindly invite you to fill out a few simple questions. This should only take about 2-3 minutes of your time, but will provide us with valuable information for our project.

What are we researching?

Research shows that there is a great disconnect between remote sensing and in situ observation research. To fill these data gaps there needs to be clarity in terms of the needs and expectations of the public and private sectors of the Copernicus programme and the wider research and business innovation opportunities.

Water-ForCE is an Horizon 2020 project dedicated to develop the roadmap for the water component for the future Copernicus services. The Water-ForCE consortium gathers together an intersectoral and multidisciplinary team of 20 scientific partners coming from universities, research institutes, SMEs and industry participants from 11 European countries.

Who should fill out the Water-ForCE survey?

Anyone with knowledge about remote sensing and its applications in the water domain are kindly invited to fill out the Water-ForCE survey. By filling out the survey you contribute to defining the future of inland water services for Copernicus.

Do you deal with water-related policies? For example in agriculture, climate monitoring, oceanography, sanitation, flood or drought (disaster) management or any other study of water.

We are investigating barriers to satellite remote sensing data uptake in inland water and coastal domains. With this survey we are trying to find out what the biggest information needs are, with regards to satellite remote sensing for coastal and inland water.
