Explore space training and career opportunities with students, educators and industry professionals in Barcelona on 2 December 2026

What skills will Europe’s space sector need, and how can students, educators and employers prepare? A free event in Barcelona on 2 December 2026 will introduce training programmes and offer opportunities to discuss career pathways and workforce development with representatives from industry, academia and institutions.

Hosted by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and the European SpaceSUITE project, “Delivering the Blueprint” will focus on connecting education and training with the evolving needs of the space sector.

Discover training programmes developed for the space sector

SpaceSUITE is a European project developing training programmes to address skills needs in the space sector. The Barcelona event will showcase these programmes and explore how they can support people entering the sector, professionals developing their expertise and organisations preparing for future workforce needs.

Participants will be able to learn about concrete training opportunities, explore emerging skills and career pathways, and exchange directly with organisations involved in Europe’s space workforce.

Connect your studies, teaching or workforce needs with training opportunities

For students considering a career in space, the event offers a chance to explore relevant training and hear perspectives from organisations working in the sector.

For educators and training providers, it provides an opportunity to discover the SpaceSUITE programmes and discuss how education can respond to changing industry requirements.

For industry professionals and employers, the afternoon offers a forum to discuss skills needs, staff development and the training available to support future talent.

Representatives from institutions will also contribute to the conversation about education, training and workforce development across the European space ecosystem.

The full agenda and speaker list will be published on the event website.
