The aim of the action is to prepare for the implementation of the space segment, and the provision of the EuroQCI’s first space-based services.
-Supporting pre-validation of the first generation of the EuroQCI space segment interconnected with the EuroQCI terrestrial segment
-Establishing steps towards the full deployment phase where the EuroQCI space segment will be fully integrated into the EU space-based secure connectivity initiative
-Development and deployment of advanced optical communication to interconnect satellites
-Establishment of a central mission operating centre for system in-orbit validation and testing
-Providing inputs for certification and accreditation for different security levels of communication
