The European Space Forum Will Return To Brussels In June 2024, Once Again Bringing Together Key Industry Leaders, Policymakers, And Experts For 2 Full Days Of Face-to-face Debate

With vital discussions currently taking place around the future of the EU Space Law and other important policy initiatives, this is a crucial period for the future shape of the space sector in Europe. The conference will provide a platform for multi-stakeholder discussions around the path towards the EU Single Market for Space; as well as focussing more broadly on strategic pillars such as sustainability, resilience, competitiveness, economic security and on ensuring long-term autonomous access to space.

Sessions are designed to be discussion-based and highly interactive, with the aim of providing an opportunity to delve into detail on the key issues at play. With small, well-balanced panels, we ensure that all relevant stakeholders have a seat at the table. Each session culminates in an open Q&A, allowing audience members to take part in the discussion and have their voices heard.

Eight themes featured across 2 full days of in-person discussions: Space Sustainability, Ensuring long term autonomous access to space, IRIS² and Secure Space Based Connectivity, EU Space Law & a single market for Space, Europe's economic security on the global stage, Delivering EU Competitiveness in Space, Harnessing the power of space data and Space, Security and Defence.

The inaugural edition of the European Space Forum in 2021 was held virtually, and brought together more than 700 key stakeholders and thought leaders from across the space and satellite sectors. In the following year, the event switched to a hybrid format, which welcomed speakers and delegates to Brussels for 2 full days of face-to-face debate. The 2023 edition was held fully in person, with Margrethe Vestager, EVP of European Commission among 60 high level speakers. The conference has become established as a key meeting place for the space and satellite sectors in Europe and we are looking forward to its fourth edition, on 24-25 June in Brussels. We are confident that the event can add real tangible value to policy thinking around key space policy issues in Europe.

Like in all the previous editions, the conference this year will once again feature exhibit stands where partners have the chance to showcase their initiatives and products. We encourage participants to explore these tables during the refreshment breaks as it creates a fantastic opportunity to network and exchange ideas. At the end of day one, between 17:30 – 18:30, a cocktail reception will be held and all partners, speakers and delegates are invited.
