The Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) is preparing for the 1st Benelux Space Startup Competition (SSC), a two-day business accelerator set to take place on May 1-2, 2025, at the Rotterdam Science Tower. Designed for pre-bootstrap startups, individuals, and teams with ideas for the space industry, this event promises to be a launchpad for the next generation of space entrepreneurs.
Aimed at students and young professionals aged 18-35, the SSC offers a unique opportunity to transform innovative concepts into viable business plans under the guidance of industry experts. Whether you’re a solo visionary, part of a team, or simply interested in space entrepreneurship, this competition welcomes all aspiring space innovators—no pre-selection required!
The final day features a pitch competition where you’ll present your work to a group of experienced judges. They’ll offer feedback and pick winners based on what’s presented. If you’re teamless going in, SGAC will help you pair up with others after registration closes. Leading up to the event, webinars will give everyone a solid starting point on space entrepreneurship.
