WELCOME TO EXPANDEO and FIRE Forum 2022!
We are happy to invite you to EXPANDEO, the European Association of Remote Sensing Companies (EARSC) ’s annual conference. EXPANDEO is the conference where Earth Observation providers and users come together to discover market trends and to network and collaborate in different sectors.
EO Application Sectors
The FIRE Forum 2022, which is the main track of EXPANDEO, will bring together a critical mass of actors from six key sectors – Agriculture, Wind Energy, Infrastructure, Marine, Raw Materials and Urban Development.

During EXPANDEO we will expand the discussions to include business and user representatives from other sectors. There will also be specialized sessions which will address aspects such as investment in EO, international financial instruments etc.
Please note that this is a hybrid event: it will take place partly in Brussels and partly online.

The FIRE Forum 2022 event will bring together a critical mass of actors from six key sectors – agriculture, energy, infrastructure, marine, raw materials and urban development – together with Earth Observation (EO) players to discuss EO benefits and future EO capabilities needed to address sectorial challenges. Discussions will build upon findings from the first and second round of FIRE Focus Group events, as well as the first FIRE Forum which took place last June 2021.
We encourage professionals from the six target sectors to join the conversation and help further shape Europe’s EO strategy and roadmap.
