There is still a need in the African region for the development of technologies for the effective management of water supply. Satellite images may hold the key to resolving this issue. Processed satellite data can aid in flood mapping and drought forecasting, considerably enhancing the efficiency of water use. In this context, the partnership between the EU and Africa on the implementation of Copernicus services contributes to sustainable development, scientific cooperation, and the socioeconomic growth of African countries.
During this webinar, the Water-ForCE project team will emphasize the results and possibilities for growing collaboration in the Copernicus aquatic applications for Africa.
