Join the Basics of Remote Sensing for Educators online course and learn how to integrate satellite data and remote sensing tools into environmental education. The course is designed for Nature and Earth Sciences teachers and offers hands-on exercises on free platforms such as Copernicus Browser, NASA Giovanni, and NASA FIRMS.

Participants will learn to:

  • Analyse Sentinel-1, 2, and 3 satellite data
  • Detect and assess wildfire dynamics and post-fire areas
  • Monitor landscape changes caused by human activity
  • Track atmospheric and air quality changes
  • Apply remote sensing data for emergency monitoring

Practical details:

  • 💰 Free participation (limited places)
  • 🕒 Classes: 3:00–5:00 PM (EET, Kyiv time)
  • 🌍 Language: English (B1 level required)
  • 🧾 Certificate awarded upon 80% course completion
  • 📨 To apply: submit a motivation letter (max. 300 words) via the registration form by 28 November 2025
