ECMWF is holding its 7th General Assembly of the Copernicus Climate Change Service between 17-20 June in Brussels, Belgium, in partnership with the Belgian Science Policy Office, BELSPO.
We very much look forward to welcoming you on-site in the capital of the Belgian EU presidency for the first half of 2024: Brussels.
Join us to hear about the latest developments in the service and help us shape the future.
The General Assembly will be an exciting moment to connect with your fellow C3S service providers as well as with representatives of EU institutions and agencies, Belgian stakeholders and ECMWF’s partner organisations. The programme promises to offer ample networking opportunities in between engaging plenary and poster sessions. For more in-depth discussions, side meetings will be organised by ECMWF and BELSPO.
Registration is free and open to anyone interested in attending. Priority for on-site participation will be given to C3S service providers and users. Please note that this event is primarily a face-to-face event, online participation will be limited to livestreaming of the plenary sessions.
Registration for the event is moderated. We will review all expressions of interest and confirm onsite or online participation via email. We encourage you to register as soon as possible to reserve your place. We recommend applicants not to make any arrangements until their place is confirmed.
If you would like to present a poster at the event, you can state your interest when completing the event registration form. Spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The deadline for expressing your interest in presenting a poster is 8 March 2024 (EOB).
A C3S User Day for Belgium is also planned in partnership with BELSPO ( location and venue tbc).
The registration deadline for the on-site attendance is 7 June 2024 (EOB). After this date, it will still be possible to register to watch the plenary sessions online.
The event includes catered coffee, lunch breaks and a networking dinner. However, participants are expected to cover their own travel and accommodation costs.
